Library learning spaces: Data gathering to inform Print E-mail

Abstract

Anne Whisken, in her regular Learning Landscapes section, looks at ways school libraries might create library spaces to make a positive impact on students learning. Whisken describes an action learning project in a school library which asks what data should and can be gathered to assist this process, what tools might be used, and how do we analyse and meaningfully report the findings. The suggestion is made that whether we are in old buildings or designing new library learning spaces, it is what we do in each of our libraries that is the key to our ability to impact on student learning.
