Anne Whisken describes her research and thoughts on how to recreate library spaces and the way that we provide access to resources. Anne’s thought-provoking discussion considers many of the important issues presently facing our profession.

Anne Whisken is currently Head of Resource Centre, Mellor Library, Carey Baptist Grammar School. Anne has led major secondary school libraries in Victoria and Queensland. With a continuing enthusiasm for the rigor that ongoing study brings to practice, Anne is a PhD student at Charles Sturt University. She chose action research to investigate ways to work with teachers to model and develop student learning of skills and dispositions for 21st century information literacy.
