Xavier College - Nurturing a reading culture

Abstract

Trish Trchala, Emily Jackson, and Keith McDougall, from Xavier College, outline their
recent investigations into the role of school libraries in creating and nurturing a reading
habit amongst students. They describe some of the resulting programming they have
created as they continue to further explore supportive ideas and theories.
