Raquel Pilar

Raquel Pilar is a school librarian in an international school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and works with 3rd and 4th-grade students. She has been researching graphic novels as tools for building readers in youth and works in a social project in the outskirts of Rio to promote access to children’s books and reading for pleasure.
