Luisa Marquardt has more than four decades of experience in Librarianship and Education. She teaches Library and Information Science at Roma Tre University (Department of Education and Department of Humanities). She is involved in many library associations at national and international level. She is the current Chair of the National Commission of School Libraries of the Italian Library Association; Secretary of the IFLA School Libraries Unit (2021-2023); IFLA Division E Deputy Chair; IASL Lifetime Member and former Director Europe for IASL (2009-2016).
