Abstract

As I write this editorial, my home state of Victoria is in its second restrictive lockdown, but the way ahead is looking positive and everyone remains hopeful that the limitations placed on all of us will benefit our community. As I work on publishing the journal with the support and assistance of our board, dedicated section editors, our wonderful authors, and our expert website creator, Monica Williams, I am mindful of the different stories from around the world and the various experiences of educators and school librarians during this pandemic. There are many positive stories of opportunities embraced, but it is upsetting to also see that countries already struggling with disadvantage have been hard hit. We must continue to share ideas and possibilities at a time when we all need each other’s support. Synergy does this, when it can, and our archive of past journals is freely available for this very reason.
